Ok so I'm a week late but here he is, Hunter Edward Vaknin. He was born on Halloween, he weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. We are so excited to have him as apart of our family.

Facebook killed our blog!

So I realized that because Jonathan and I both have accounts on Facebook and we do a lot of updating on there our blog has been neglected. So here is a little update on what has been going on in the Vaknin household, as many of you know we are expecting our third baby in November, another little boy and are very excited about that. Tyler started kindergarten yesterday, I was a blubbering mess when I dropped him off but I'm happy to report that he survived his first day and actually enjoyed it. Haylie will be two on the 21st of this month, she definitely keeps us on our toes. Jonathan is still loving his job and I'm blessed to still be able to stay home with the kids. Well that is what has been going on with us in a nutshell, hope you all are well and we will try to be more diligent about updating our blog.

Christmas

On Christmas eve the Modrell family was kind enough to invite us over to join their family's festivities. We had a really yummy dinner of ham, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli salad and homemade rolls. Then the kids put on the Nativity for us, as you can see from the pictures it was really cute. Laura wanted each family to preform a talent, we slacked off but Tyler represented in a couple of numbers. All in all it was a wonderful evening. Thanks for having us!

Christmas morning is always exciting... there is no greater gift then to see your kids faces light up when they see what Santa has brought them.

We have been truly blessed and hope that all of you have had a wonderful Christmas, we love you very much.

Tyler's preschool program

Tonight Jonathan's work had an open house at costco, we got free pizza, hot dogs and churros but the best part was that we got to see Santa.

A nice evening walk

Well lately since the weather has been so nice we've been taking evening family walks. Tyler loves looking at the Halloween decorations and as you can tell he loves posing with them too. We decided to snap a few shots. Have I mentioned how much I love the weather lately?

Fall is in the air.

So today we went to the outdoor mall to enjoy the incredible Fall weather we're having. We all had a great time, the kiddos played at the playplaces and we just sat, relaxed and enjoyed the cool breezes. Tyler and Haylie had a cute brother sister moment when he walked up to her and gave her a big hug. It was all topped off with our favorite little treat after the outside mall........ Cookies from Paradise Bakery.
