2 weeks already!?

Haylie had her 2 week check up and now weighs 5lbs 8oz and has grown 1/2 an inch. Her doctor is really happy with her progress and says she looks great.  All of our wonderful help ( including Shannyn) have gone home and guess what? WE are parents of 2 now... well ... Steph really has them both  for most of the day, I actually get to go to work and talk to real grown ups. Steph and I have been trying to help big brother Tyler adjust to the change, it's touch and go but I think we will figure it out.

Bacon & Feet

Well, after the first couple of days at home with Haylie & Tyler together, i must say that i think we have done pretty good (for now). We have been very lucky to have Steph's mom Ann and her sisters..... uh ... what where their names!? ... oh yeah!... Stacey & Shannyn here to help.

Now, for the bacon and feet. I just thought that i would proclaim my undying love for probably the most important food group there is, a food that has really always been there for me, through good times and bad times, a food that really doesn't know how to do anything else but love back... I love you Bacon.

Now for the feet. Tyler loves to play with Haylie's feet, every time she is awake ( which is pretty rare ) He will ask to play with her feet. To our surprise she actually let's him. Tyler really loves having Haylie here. Well until next post.. Bye.

I will be a better blogger!!

So I'm' trying to be a better blogger and actually posts some new things more often than once a month (thanks Shannyn). It's kinda hard cause life gets in the way sometimes and eats up all of your time, but I'm gonna really try. So Steph is nearing the home stretch with little Haylie, soon enough we will be a family of 4!... Oh geez... am i really ready for that!? We can't wait to see her. Steph has to go the doctor like twice a week now... not sure what that's about but I guess it's pretty routine, but it's kind of a drag especially with Tyler but We'll be OK, well can't really think of anything else to report on as far as Steph and Haylie go.

So I'm not really the sports type but I have to admit that the Olympics have been on the TV almost non-stop. It's been really addicting watching that kind of competition at a worldwide level. Tyler really enjoys imitating the gymnasts, I've been trying to get a video of Tyler doing this...I'll post it as soon as I have a good one. Until next post we hope everyone is doing well, and GO USA!!

OH! about the picture above... it's my oniompic rings. ( get it? onion rings and Olympic... uh.... never mind)

Batter Up!!

Well, on Friday we went to our first Diamondbacks game against the Dodgers. Shannyn, John, Jack and Birthday boy ...... or should I say, man... Tom were also there. We had a fun time needless to say it was tough for Tyler to get through the 4 1/2 hour game but he was a great sport. At the end of the game we got to see some really cool fireworks. I think we will do it again next year. Sorry there are no pictures... i forgot the battery in our camera was dead... my bad.
